PCM TDM exchange conference connections - form sum of codeword and data words, stores total, determine priority and transmit message without codeword

Total sum codewords are formed from PCM words corresponding to parties to the conference. They are intermediately stored, and when a further such PCM word appears in the corresponding time slot in the preceding frame, it is delayed and subtracted from the others. Partial sum words are sent to the subscriber whose conference component they do not contain. Partial sum codewords are in addition added to the PCM word whose appearance caused its transmission to a subscriber. The new total sum codeword is again stored in the delay unit (VZ) which is in parallel with the information store (SI).
