There are two profile rails, pref. metal, linked by two profiled connecting battens, made of heat-insulating material, leaving a cavity. They are anchored in grooves in the rails. One of every two faces (9, 10), at least, to be fitted together, on the rails(2) and on the connecting battens, has uneven areas which form cavity (18). These can be in the form of ridges (11) running lengthways and/or crossways. This further reduces the already very slight heat flow through the connecting battens.
