Cross guided urban passenger vehicle track junction points - have switch elements only on outside of curve

On tracks in a transport system with horizontal running surface and protruding vertical side cross-guiding stems, the functionally active junction points have two tracks meeting, one or both being curved and intersecting to unite with a common third track. Within the cross-over area there is at least one movable section on a cross-guiding stem, as points switch element, to effect directional changes. These points switching elements (17, 18) are mounted only on one side of the two converging tracks (2, 3), this being on the outside of the curve (7). They can be moved vertically and activated by mechanical flaps (18) which travel over in the wheel-running surface (2) and/or or cross-guiding stems (4, 6).
