The indicator support is for a filing system with a pocket 'U' shaped in cross section and has two opposing walls to hold an information strip with at least one rider tab to indicate the information selected on the strip. The rider tab can be fixed in position by a notch which fits into a recess. The tab rider has an adjustable bearing between the walls (3, 4) above the information strip (6) extending in the pocket's longitudinal direction and can be brought into contact by adjustment with any one of the indicator positions located in the longitudinal direction one behind the other.
