The machine for winding recording tape inside a cassette, has a supply reel (2) at one end a delivery chute (15) for the tape reel at the other end. The tape is fed by a suction head (67) which is raised and lowered to release the tape to a cutting device (64, 66) below. The carrier (49) for the adhesive tape supply roll is also reciprocated.
