Revolving railway crane type carrier frame - has cross reinforced box unit with stems extended downwards to lengthways stiffeners

The support frame for a railway vehicle is esp. suitable for revolving cranes. It is assembled from lengthways and cross bearers, and loadable both in the supported and unsupported operational state, and in travel. A box-shaped base carrier unit is stiffened by inside partitioning plates (8, 9) with outside cross arm plates (10) extended downwards beyond the lower chord (11) and connected to full-length stiffeners (12) so that the unit engages a support bearer lying across the centre and passing through the guideway carrier. The sidepieces of the latter are connected by transverse tension fishplates.
