Appts. applies a mounting adhesive to the back of an emulsion layer of a photographic print or similar which has had the backing paper separated from the emulsion layer. The photographic prints with normal base (1) are fed from a supply reel (10) into the separator (11, 12). The base material (2) is wound onto a take-up spool (13) whilst the resin emulsion (5) is carried around the stripper drum (11) to be coated with the mounting adhesive (8), which has a tear off protective backing paper, coming off a supply reel (14). The picture carrying pring emulsion with adhesive backing is would onto a take-up spool (17).
