SIGNAL PROCESSING CIRCUIT FOR A COLOURTELEVISION CAMERAABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA signal processing circuit for a colour televisioncamera comprises filters supplied with an input signal comprising,in multiplexed state, a plurality of amplitude-modulated colourcomponent signals obtained from a camera tube of the colourtelevision camera and operating respectively to filter the high-frequency components of the input signal, detection and proces-sing circuits for detecting the output signal of the high-passfilter and producing signals whose DC components have beenrestored, and for carrying out gamma correction white clipping,linear clipping, blanking signal mixing, or like signal processingwith respect to the produced signal, a low-pass filter suppliedwith the input signal from the camera tube and operating tofilter the low-frequency component of the input signal, a proces-sing circuit for carrying out signal processing with respect tothe output signals of the low-pass filter, a matrix circuit formatrixing the output signals of the detection and processingcircuits and the processing circuit and obtaining three primarycolour signals, and a colour encoder for obtaining a compositecolour video signal from the output three primary colour signalsof the matrix circuit.- 2 -
