Stacking machine for laminations of different sizes - uses interchangeable head or multiheads on sliding carriage with to-and-fro movement

The stacking machine which can adapt laminations of different sizes, has head holding laminations of the same size ready for insertion into a coil bobbin and facilities for carrying the laminations into the bobbin with a back- and forward-movement. It further provides a mount-base for fixing the head with adjustment facilities to define the positioning. A reciprocating drive engages releasable with a sliding carriage onto which the mount-base is fixed for the back- and forward-movement of the hadss. The arrangement is such that the head can be dismantled from the mount-base easily and be replaced by a head for laminations of another size. The travel distance of the carriage can be selected in predefined steps to obtain the required throw for laminations of different sizes. By using a mount plate with several heads, each carrying laminations of a different size selective insertion of different size laminations into the coil bobbin is possible.
