Runner pattern for injection moulding thermosetting resins - having the sprue integral with the moulding to avoid blocking the nozzle

Injections moulding nozzle and runner system where the nozzle ends in a concave seat which can mate with an insert mounted in the mould tool and defining a parallel or pref. divergent flow channel feeding the mould cavity. The female/male nozzle/mould coupling is less prone to form a frozen plug in the nozzle than the conventional inverse arrangement. The frozen or cured sprue associated with each shot is ejected with the same moulding.
