摘要
The clamp joins steel scaffolding tubes together without using bolts and nuts. Positive clamping is achieved by wedging. The clamp is made by bending an initially flat cruciform plate into a bracket which accommodates two mutually perpendicular members. Each arm of the cruciform plate has a hole for the locking wedge. The clamping bracket 1 accommodates two mutually perpendicular pipes 21, 22 which are held between bracket arms 4, 5 and 6, 7. The tapered clamping wedge 2, 3 are made as U profiles from pressed steel and the narrow end has outwards turned flanges which fit into additional grooves provided for them. The wedge edges rest against flat insert plates 19 which in turn contact the pipe walls.
