Teeth braces preparation process - uses removable teeth from positive jaw model implanted in negative one

The braces (7) are provisionally fixed in the correct position for treatment on a positive model of the jaw (4), from which there is made a transfer mask, of elastic material. Using a negative model of the jaw to be treated, a positive model is prepared with removable teeth (3), which are then removed and implanted in the negative, whose maxillary region is filled with wax. Using the wax jaw and the rigid teeth, the latter are then brought into the ideal position while the wax is in a sufficiently plastic condition. The braces are then provisionally placed on the rigid teeth of the model, so that all their slots are parallel to the ideal line of the dental arch. The rigid teeth and braces are then reimplanted in the maxillary region of the positive model from which they were removed. The braces are then finally transferred and fixed to the teeth in the patient's mouth.
