Hair lotion for combating falling hair and dandruff formation, improving the appearance of the hair, giving it suppleness and brilliance, and reducing greasiness comprises incorporated into rectified, deodorised mineral oil, dried, or extracts of, plants e.g. nettle, camomile, maidenhair fern, burdock, verbena, or mallow, and secondly, constituents such as essence of lavender, oil of basil, cade oil, cedar oil, S, or tar. Pref. the lotion contains 2-6 g of plant extracts and 2-6 g of each of the other constituents, per litre of mineral oil, or may contain 12-100 g of each of the dried plants and 2-6 g of each of the other constituents, per l. of oil.
