The stress anchor, made of strips of sheet metal, is for interfacing walling elements used in concrete formwork, with spacers, acting directly or indirectly, formed by stop elements inserted into holes or cutouts in the sheet strips, and with slits for clamping wedges in the end sections of the strips which pass through the form walls. Pieces (6) punched out fromt he slits (3) in the strips (5) are here used to provide the stop elements, and these pieces may project to an equal distance on both sides of the strip. There may be two or more cutouts (7, 7a) for insertion of the stop pieces, with interval corresponding to the depth of a conical body which can be braced against the inside of the form wall.
