A plate (1) supports the flower pots (2) and a water supply pipe (3) into which are screwed outlets (4), closed by a cover (7) in which are connected a number of flexible plastics small bore pipes (8), the other ends of which are clamped to pegs driven into the soil of individual flower pots. The ends of the pipes are provided with ceramic nozzles, the apertures of which are calculated to deliver a carefully selected amount of water, the size of aperture being selected in terms of the individual needs of the plant. This system can be easily converted to a conventional spray watering system with little extra cost, using the same supply pipe outlets. This system reduces the danger of fungus disease caused by spray watering.
