The jig arrangement is set up manually and is manually operaed. A group of insulated wires is accepted and aligned with the connector pins to which they will be attached. The jig arrangement is then changed such that the wires enter the connectors and are cut to the correct length. The connectors themselves have two inwardly sprung leaves leading to a connection area provided with two 'U' shaped slots into which the wires are slotted. The jig has three comb groups into which the wires and connectors are individually introduced, the alignment being such as to bring them together in the mating operation. A single handle (106) working against springs provides the required connection force.
