Lining for repair of sanitary wear - which is placed in bath, etc., pref. adhered, and insulated from bath surface by e.g. foam

Bath tub or wash basin is repaired by means of lining which conforms to the shape of the bath tub or basin and which covers the edges of the bath tub. In the bottom of the lining is a recess which is aligned with the plughole of the bath and which receives a drain waste. Hollow spaces which occur between the bath tub and lining due to reciprocal dimensional differences are filled, pref. with foamed synthetic material, e.g. polyurethane foam or casting resin. Fitting of the lining is performed by applying adhesive to at least part of the bath inner surface, closing the bath plughole, introducing the filling material into the tub, placing the lining with pre-closed recess in position, and weighting it down.
