The roadside bus shelter has a central post (1) supporting a hexagonal roof (2) with a removable border (4) which makes the roof circular. The structural elements of the roof are a triangles (6) which extend radially from the post. A channel (28) at ground level carries a window pane (23) which is also sealed by the removable border, the window panes forming five sides of the hexagon. The shelter can also be used as a kiosk with a serving counter and partially glazed sections.
