Screw clamp for bare conductor - has screw shank with collar that breaks off and rotates to prevent torque transfer to conductor

The screw clamp, for a base conductor, consists of shank (a) and a head. The end of the shank has a neck (b) and a collar (c) fixed to the neck via narrow bridges. The shank, neck, collar and bridges are all one piece. The conductor (not shown) is clamped against a support face (not shown) by the end face (C1) of the collar as the screw is screwed into the contact block (not shown). As the pressure on the conductor increases the collar bridges shear through and the collar drops around the neck. As the screws continues to rotate, the collar remains stationary on the conductor and acts as a bush for the neck of the screw - thereby preventing the screw torque being transferred to the conductor.
