Triangular mesh reinforcement for concrete beams is manufactured in a machine with three reels which feed the rod that will form the corners of the triangle to a control head. A fourth reel feeds the rod that will form the cross lattice to a second head. The rod feed system has an automatic tension control. The first control head indexes the three corner wires forward in a flat plane. Simultaneously the fourth head feeds the lattice rod across the first rods at an angle. The lattice is welded and sheared. The assembly passes through a forming machine where it is folded into the triangular shape required.
