The bearing is for conveyor roller spindle, having balls or rollers in a cage between an inner collared race fitting on the spindle and a bowl-shaped outer race fitted in a housing accommodated in an opening in the roller end. The concave portion of the bowl is towards the collar, working with it and the inner race to form the tracks for the balls or rollers. The housing is round, with an axial passage of larger diameter than the inner race accommodating the outer race and balls and closed by a wall at one end. The wall (68) is on the opposite side of the collar (64) to the balls (54), and the outer race (60) has its hollowed-out portion towards the wall. Bearing height adjustment devices are provided between the outer race and the bottom of the housing round the collar.
