The second system successively supplies several records onto a turntable. Between each record is a separation plate which ensures tht records to not come into contact with each other. A distribution system enables several records with their separation plates to be stored above the turntable. This distribution system (2) also lowers the records one after the other onto the turntable. A braking system controls the fall of the records and their protection plates. The protection plates which are circular in shape are made from a material which will not cause damage to the record grooves. The periphery (8) of the plates is of greater thickness than the remainder of the plate, so that the record fits into a circular slot between two plates.
