Suspended floor for inflatable dinghy comprises at least one panel consisting of channels sepd. by sealing partitions. Most of the channels are closed at their ends, pref. by individual stoppers or by a single common element fixed to the panel. The channels are pref. filled with a material of specific gravity less than 1 to prevent entry to water and maintain the assembly floating, pref. a closed cell synthetic material e.g. expanded polyethylene. Each panel pref. has at least one edging strip perpendicular to the ends of the channels, consisting of a U-shaped profile of which the base is opposite the ends of the channels and the arms are each fixed to a face of the panel by adhesive. The floor is rigid and lightweight and, in case of complete deterioration of the dinghy itself, provides a permanent non-submersible float.
