摘要
An internal coating for a solid propellant rocket contains =1 crosslinked elastomer, a loading material and an organosilicon. The elastomer is pref. partially crosslinked, and is an ethylene-propylene-terpolymer. The organosilicon is pref. a gamma-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane. The coating pref. contains 1-10 pts. wt. silane per 100 pts. terpolymer, and also 1-2 pts. wt. 2,5-dimethyl 2,5-bis(t-butyl)hexane. A palsticizer can also be present and, the loading material is pref. a carbon black. The coating is used as a bond between the solid propellant and the metal body of the rocket, whether protected internally by a thermal rubber or not. It can be placed in position by glueing layers on the internal wall, thus allowing better control of thickness. It is of low density, and simple formula, and gives good adhesion to the solid propellant. The adhesion is durable, hence coated blocks of propellant can be stored.
