A crockery and cutlery drainage receptacle is used. It incorporates one or more preferably gutter type drains, one at each end, the base of the tray is set at a slight angle from back to front. The base itself is made in one piece and is flat surfaced permitting the draining board of the sink of which the invention rests to remain dry. The base stands on feet (18, 19, 20) which may be integrally moulded with the receptacle. There are racks (11, 12, 13) for holding the crockery and cutlery.
