Swimming bath with prefabricated reinforced concrete sides - has bottom ledge all around with connections and projecting rods for adjoining bottom

The rectangular swimming bath is made from prefabricated reinforced concrete side elements (1) connected to sloping bottom elements (16). The vertical side elements each terminate in a horizontal foot (7) providing a ledge all round to act as a foot support surface for non swimmers. At each corner is a vertical angle (8) with a base portion (9) to which can be welded the reinforcing rods. These members have holes (12) for connecting bolts (12). Lengths of rod (14) project from the foot regions for connection to the bottom elements when they are poured. A sealing substance is injected at all joints.
