The lifting and levering assembly for building work has two locking parts (1, 2) mounted on a bar (3). These parts have an opening to fit the bar, which is usually of square section. The locking parts have at their lateral extremities openings (6, 7) serving as slideways for guide bars (8, 9), solid with a plate which forms a base. Inside each locking part is an eccentric part facing the bar (3) with two rows of points. The eccentrics are pinned to a rotating shaft (14), actuated by a handle (15) and a spring system (16). The bar can be slid and then held firmly using the handle.
