Disposable slippers of flexible laminated sheet with adhesive tabs - adaptable to various sizes and shapes of feet

Disposable slippers are made of square or rectangular flexible composite sheet fitted with adhesive flaps to hold the folded sheet in position about a wearer's foot. The sheet comprises a layer of soft, moisture absorbent material, e.g. cotton and a layer of impermeable, tear-resistant material, e.g. polyethylene, for the exposed face of the sole. The adhesive flaps may be of barbed fabrics e.g. 'Velcro' (RTM) or a fabric coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive. The laminate may incorporate a layer of fine polyamide mesh as reinforcement. Used in e.g. hospitals, swimming pools, etc. One basic design can be adapted to almost any size or shape of foot, trimmed after fitting.
