Tracers (8), for marking the ground are carried by bell-crank levers which are pivoted to a frame connected to a traclter lift linkage. The arms are connected by chains or cables to the rods (4, 5) of a single acting trail rod jack. The jack is fed with oil under pressure from the tractor system through valve (3) and conduit (2). A spring (14) extends between an abutment at the outer end of rod (5) and the adjacent end of the cylinder (1). When the jack is relieved of pressure, spring (14) causes the piston to move to, lowering one tracer and raises tracer (8). When the jack is pressurised the piston moves again lowering tracer (8) and compressing spring (14) and to raising the other tracer.
