Hydraulic control circuit for fork lift truck - has hydraulic coupling to prevent reversal of truck when in motion

A fork lift truck is powered by an i.c. engine which drives a fixed displacement pump through a hydraulic coupling. The pump supplies fluid to the hydraulic motors (23) which drive the truck and are controlled by a slide valve (18). The raising and lowering of the fork lift is controled by another slide valve whilst a further slide valve controls the angle of inclination of the lift guides. the hydraulic coupling is supplied with a fluid from the secondary pump and is connected to a slide valve (41) and an electromagnetic valve so that the direction of motion of the truck cannot be reversed whilst it is in motion.
