The mobile suction machine comprises a rigid chassis (10), a motorised fan unit (14), a filter box (16), and a storage container (18) which is pivot-mounted on the chassis (10). A unit controlling the tilt comprises at least one combined thrust device with a rod which pivots on an axle joined to the chassis (10). Another link is joined to the box, and a third link forms part of the thrust mechanism. The storage container (18) also incorporates a pivot. The connecting pivot between the rod and the thrust mechanism is positioned between the connecting pivots of the rod to the chassis, and of the rod to the box. The thrust mechanism is in the form of a hydraulic jack. The pivot of the storage container has a bearing the diameter of which is slightly less than the width of the slide piece.
