Special grill for swiss cheese fondue - can receive quarter portion of cheese on pivoting arm below tilting electric heating element

The grill is composed of a tray, an electric element above the tray(11) at a position angled at 45 deg., and a pivoting arm(12) which carries the cheese and built to receive a quarter of a piece of raclette (Swiss) cheese. The tray consists of a wooden plate of rectangular shape, covered by a corrugated metal sheet which has been painted with a varnish resistant to heat. There are four feet(15) with rubber tips. The electric element is attached in a way to permit its removal on to the tray by the tube(16) engaged telescopically in the foot(17), welded at 45 deg. onto the metal sheet. The arm(12) is attached to the tray by means of a pivot, and can swivel freely between two positions. The positions of the arm(12) are fixed to prevent the cheese from coming into direct contact with the heating element of the foot(17).
