The nut cracker prevents the nut e.g. an almond from being crushed on ejected. It consists of two handles (1), two concave apertures (3, 4) the smaller one (3) for hazelnuts and almonds, the larger one (4) for an average size walnut. The nut is placed in a way to submit both halves to identical opening pressure. A stop (6) is positioned backwards and forwards on a slot opening (5) depending on the nut to be cracked. This supports a second stop (7). When in contact with the upper lever (2) the second stop (7) puts the first one (6) in the correct position for the operation. It is spring operated.
