The housing (2) of the mechanism contains spool with axle (3) seated in two side surfaces of the housing. One end of the axle is fitted with a ratchet toothed disc underneath the pawl arm (21) provided with a tip (22) engaging the ratchet when in operation. The swinging motion of the arm is induced by an intermediate arm (24) swinging around an axle (23), while the end (25) of the arm is in constant contact with the bottom edge of the catch. The swinging motion of the intermediate arm is induced by deflection of an inertia mass (36) fitted on a stem (34) suspended loosely on the spherical seat of the carrier arm.
