Treatment of disorders caused by over eating - using compsns. contg. soya protein and dietetic fibre

Therapeutic compsns contg 20-80% soya protein and 20-80% dietetic fibres are new. They are used for prevention and treatment of disorders caused by overeating such as constipation, obesity, prediabetes, diabetes, and metabolic and vascular disorders. Synergism between the protein and the fibres, and better organoleptic properties, are provided. The fibrous material may be dietetic fibres having a fibrous structure, such as bran or bagasse, or having an amorphous structure such as pectin or guar gum or resin, or a mixture of these in any proportion. The compositions may further contain Na, Ca, Mg or Fe cations and SO4 and PO4 anions, and may be in the form of powders, granules, rusks, biscuits, etc.
