Stamping tool for leather shoes and fancy goods etc. - combines cutting with decoration by impression and colouration

A tool for cutting hides, skins and plastics sheet material partic. for use in the footwear and fancy leather goods industries is described. The tool comprises a stamp with precutter and a final cutting head aligned with the precutter and equipped not only to cut but to decorate the cut blanks with impressions and colouration. The cutting head can comprise cutting plades and/or stamping ribs which may be welded or removably attached to the cutting head. Provision can be made for heating the cutting head and/or for applying dye to elements of the cutting head as required for decoration of the cut blanks. The stamping ribs can be continuous to give a continuous impressed line or discontinuous to give dotted lines etc. The combination tool reduces the mfg. time.
