The guard fits around the frame of a trampoline used in gymnastics and prevents body contact with the springs and the frame. It comprises slabs of soft reconstituted plastic foam (pref. polyurethane) as the core, sealed in an outer cover of plastic material with a fabric interior. This cover is stitched to form hinges at interior. This cover is stitched to form hinges at intervals, permitting folding of the guard. The underside of the slabs has straps sewn on an intervals. These form loops with eyelets for cords used to tie the cover over the springs and the top of the frame.
