The self-propelled missile is launched by a firearm, and has an additional propellant charge with a convenient number of nozzles, preferably three, and mounted in a ring. The nozzle axes are inclined at 30 deg. at least to the missile axis, on which they converge at a point preferably situated between its centre of gravity and its aerodynamic focal point. The missile can be a hollow-charge antitank rifle grenade, in a sleeve with a rocket at the base, the latter joined to a tail fin mounting. The additional propellant charge is mounted round the base and preferably round the rocket.
