Voltage regulator for vehicle alternator - has temp. sensitive voltage divider controlling transistor switch in excitation circuit

The voltage regulator, is designed for use with an alternator installed in a motor vehicle. It consists of resitors, diodes and transistors. One transistor (T2) acts as a switch in the alternator excitation circuit. A temperature sensitive circuit is connected to this transistor switch. The temp. sensitive circuit consists of a voltage divider (R1, R2) one of whose resistors is temp. dependent. The divided voltage is coupled via a zener diode (9) to the base of the transistor (T1), that drives the transistor switch.
