The tricyle is powered by movements of the arms and legs continuously to drive the rear wheels through spring tensioned chains. The chassis (5) has a sliding seat (6) and footrests (3) and handgrips (21) pulling a chain (19) attached (17) to the seat. This seat moves forward by the action of a spring (8) and chain (7), driving a chain wheel (9) and gear (11). This latter drives a gear (13) on the rear wheels (1). At the end of the slide, and seat is returned by flexing the legs, driving a spring tensioned chain (15, 16) and another gear (14) on the rear wheels.
