Solar energy collector - has absorber constituted by surfaces in contact with heat transfer fluid flowing in channels in insulating block forming framing

A solar energy collector comprises a surface in material transparent to the sun's rays, and a framing in insulating material with channels in its surface for flow of heat transfer fluid facing the transparent surface, the surface of the channels in contact with the heat transfer fluid acting as absorber. A second transparent surface pref. rests in the upper surface of the channels constituting their upper wall. The framing is pref. a moulding esp. in black polyurethane. Losses by radiation from the absorber are limited more economically and in a simpler way than in existing collectors. The collector is robust.
