Textile printing dye solns. or dispersions without solids deposition - and with good freeze-thaw stability, contain a polysaccharide as stabiliser

An aq. soln. of a dye (I) contains a phosphorus acid gp., and a polymer (II). The dye has less tendency for solids to settle out than a compsn. without (II) present, and has good handling properties of viscosity, pouring, flow etc. The solns. are used for dyeing, or in print pastes for printing textiles such as cellulosics. Mixed with a disperse dye they are esp. useful for printing mixts. of polyester and cotton. The solns. have much less tendency to flocculate disperse dyes in dispersion when mixed with them.
