Phase related starting pulse generator for vehicle engines - has sensors mounted in association with flywheel and coupled to comparator after pulse interval and variable frequency division correction

The phase related starting pulse generator is esp. for vehicle engines. The generator ensures maximum efficiency by providing an accurate start time, with respect to engine phase, the ignition pulse or the fuel injection sytem. The starting pulse is obtained by use of an auxiliary unit eliminating any dynamic error. The output is taken from a comparator fed by processed sensor signals, the processor providing correction of the sensor pulse interval and variable frequency division. Input pulses are also taken from a reset to zero pulse generator both sensors being set close to the fly-wheel or any other part moving synchronously with the engine.
