Pistol grip injector syringe - has smooth piston rod with loose collar tilting off centre to grip and move rod under trigger pressure

The injector syringe has a pistol grip and is trigger operated. It comprises a syringe barrel, its contents expelled by a piston and rod extending rearwards and connected to the trigger by a linkage and a loose collar around the rod. The rod surface is smooth and the collar has a hole increasing in dia from front to rear. With no pressure on the trigger, the rod slides freely within the collar. On squeezing the trigger, the collar tilts off centre and grips the rod to move it forwards.
