Phenyl piperidine derivs of formula (I) and their acid addn salts are new (where the CF3 group is in the 3 or 4 position and the methyl group is in the cis or trans configuration, or it is a mixture of cis and trans). The cpds are anorexic agents, useful in the treatment of obesity. Daily ose in man is 5-250 mg.p.o.
