The profile is used to reinforce a door sill. It has a core and webs in the form of a T. The two webs providing a single upper surface. The core and one web can be applied to the vertical and horizontal parts of the threshold. Each web, opposite the core, can be split, the opening converging towards the core. The upper part of the webs can be grooved (8) to improve grip. These grooved lines are parallel to the direction of the profile.
