Method comprises dusting a mould with a composite material based on metal oxides and then casting the Al alloy into the mould. The material may include =1 fluxes and the proportions of the oxides are varied to obtain different colours. Enamel-like coatings of a variety of colours can be produced on Al alloys to produce coating panels, murals, door handles, decorative components, etc.
