摘要
The hollow timber panel has a precast concrete toe rail comprising two parallel vertical boards defining a cavity. The bottom edges of the boards are fixed to a timber joist which defines the cavity and is in turn fixed to the top surface of the concrete rail. Vertical bolts at longitudinal intervals are used to make the rail to beam connection, being embedded in the rail and traversing joist holes to receive nuts and washers. The rail has a horizontal bottom face by which it bears on the top of a floor slab and the heads of the bolts may be flush with the bottom face. The joist may extend for the full length of the boards and maybe of the same width as the rail.
