The metal mounting secures solar heat collectors to building walls, and can have a hed or metal frame fixed to the collector, and a body fixed to the building structure. The head can be a metal plate rigidly fixed to a metal components, preferably tubular, and with drillings for securing the framework. Head height can be such as to hold the collector clear of the wall and thus leave a space for air or insulating material, through which any piping can be run without having to pass through the wall.
