Compact spark plug for IC engine - has standard size threaded end and flat annular seat with small size hexagonal nut

A spark plug (32) has the spark plug shell (33) formed with a lower threaded end (31) of standard size (14mm) and a flat annular seat (35) of size to fit the flat seat provided for the reception of standard spark plugs. The plug has a hexagonal nut (34) on the shell the greatest width of which is less than the diameter of the flat annular seat (preferably 16 mm). These plugs are interchangeable with the standard spark plugs and use several parts used in currently produced tapered seat plugs.
